Senior HRIS Analyst

The role:


We are seeking a HRIS/Workday Senior Analyst to join the HCD (Human Capital Development) EMEA team and be responsible for evaluating and maintaining the company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This includes both current (Workday) and potential future HRIS. Key to this role will be the provision of key analytics, metrics and reports to the HCD and broader company business groups in addition to continuously improving current processes and systems.
As a proactive organiser with a passion for systems, you will also be responsible for providing ongoing maintenance and improvements of the system and end user support where required. As the key team specialist in this area, you will be required to act as a Super User across all system modules and will be responsible for the future development of new integrations with other systems and adaptation of new business processes as the organization develops. What you will do:


  • Assist in identifying new HRIS requirements and the potential upgrades and changes to the software products to fulfil these requirements
  • Provide first level support for regional HRIS issues including vendor relationships for systems such as Workday, Applicant Tracking Systems, Other HRIS Systems, as well as SharePoint sites and interface solutions required for Payroll processing
  • Work in close collaboration with the Americas HRIS Specialist and be back-up for the Pan-regional Super User role
  • Pro-actively identifies improvements to Workday in terms of business processes and data (that is not up to date)
  • Work with HR Business Partners, Total Reward – Benefits / Compensation and EIS (Enterprise Information Solutions) to suggest and implement ways to improve data quality
  • Provide regular metrics and reports to the HCD team and the business
  • Make changes and improvements to existing programs to gather and report data as necessary
  • Assist in testing changes to HRIS system to ensure system is working appropriately at any time and during the new system version releases
  • Maintain up to date Business Processes and System Manuals for the HRIS in operation and for the integrations with any other systems
  • Coordinate and provide training updates for system users


What you will need:


  • Workday Certifications
  • Other HRIS systems experience – e.g. SAP
  • Previous experience in Workday implementation, set up, ongoing maintenance
  • Proven HRIS related work experience or Business/Data Analyst experience required ideally in supporting and enhancing global HR systems to meet the needs of HR organizations
  • Experience in participating in the implementation of HRIS projects and basic technical implementation of key business processes. Experience working with multiple technology platforms
  • Strong prioritization, organization skills, communication and analytical skills are required
  • HR process and functional knowledge is preferred; HR systems expertise in multiple HR areas including MSS, ESS, Metrics reporting, Compensation, Benefits, Data Management, Recruiting, Learning Management Systems, etc. preferred
  • Workday experience important regardless of operational structures and modules
  • Great attention to details and advanced analytical skills
