Vectura has great opportunity for a talented project analyst, with experience of capacity planning, to join Vectura’s Programme and Portfolio Management team in Chippenham. This a fantastic time to join Vectura, with exciting challenges ahead as we development and grow our CDMO business.

What we are looking for

We’re require a highly numerate and experience analyst to support Vectura’s effective planning and management of our existing and future portfolio. Your analytical skills will enable successful portfolio and capacity planning, ensuring alignment with the broader company and development plans. You’ll be responsible for analysing and translating project data into information and knowledge that enables senior stakeholders to effectively manage Vectura’s portfolio and resources.

Other key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

·       Ensuring the Portfolio & Capacity Management infrastructure is operating effectively and optimally.

·       Maintain and contribute to the continuous improvement of effective capacity planning and forecasting models to support a multi-skilled and multi-channel operation.

·       Managing and maintaining systems for the allocation and monitoring of resources

·       Advise and support the application of project management best practice.

What you need

To be considered for the role of Portfolio & Capacity Planning Analyst you’ll ideally have a scientific background such as degree or experience in life science. You’ll need to demonstrate excellent numeracy skills and be an advanced user of MS Excel, preferably with capacity planning remit. You’ll possess excellent analytical skills with proven ability to report and communicate across all levels.

You’ll be IT literate and an experienced user of databases and project management software, such as MS Project Server. Experience of working in a project team within a matrix structure is essential, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry sector.
